NOOBonic's First Newsletter

As you can see, I've changed up the theme to BlueWood, that's what I call it. We hope you guys like the concept. I sent out a newsletter just recently about the site and with a doubt in the back of my mind; I think you guys didn't take the time to read it. So I took the time to add it to my blog page with a little touch of updates here that there.

F.Y.I Rules & User Infractions

The rules are being changed and updated from time to time. Keep yourself updated with how we want the site to be governed. There has been some incidents with people getting warnings for breaking NOOBonic rules and some even got banned. Just take the time to read them. It's your job to follow up on these things, we have put up a global announcement to notify you about these changes.



Lets put the above to rest and let me welcome you to NOOBonic.com, we are very excited to have you part of our family. NOOBonic's started to accept registration on November 1st, 2009 and to this date we have 102 threads, 513 posts with a total of 96 members. Most of our members are Wrath's YouTube subscribers and members of the PlayStation forums. We welcome all types of gamers, male and female that share the same interest but with one objection "Fanboys" we hate them; but love them all at the same time, because this site wouldn't exist without their lack of mental skills. Fanboys are individuals who are devoted to a single subject in an emotional or fanatical manner, or to a single point of view within anything supported by ignorance. They are just stupid, mindless people who need to understand others opinions with something god gifted us with; if there is a god that is. But anyways, this newsletter is all about NOOBonic and what's going on with the site. You might have seen the changes if your a regular NOOBonic user from day one. Things have changed and a lot is still left to improve. Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback, we appreciate it.

Some of the suggestion that are in the works, slowly but surely as follows.

• Sub forums: At the moment, we are using prefixes until that particular forum gets massive enough to be divided into sub forums. More information about prefixes click here.
• Chatbox: Right now a good chatbox is not supported with vBulletin 4.0, but that will all change within a month or two.

When Wrath and I were discussing about the site and nearly spending a day to just pick out a good domain name; we decided that we will not have ads until six months into the site; but that has changed for a good cause to market the site. Only Valued Members will not be able to see advertisement on NOOBonic because we want this site to be more pleasing for members that we value.

Who are valued members and why does NOOBOnic care about them so much? It's not really hard to become valued at NOOBonic; all you got to do is be a role model, non-bias, knowledgeable about the topic being discussed, follow rules even though admins will tend to bend some rules for anyone valued, open, helpful, and have great writing skills. Example TheAntiMartyr is one of the valued members.

How do I become valued? I (KiLLAxMAHN) can't say much other than we will be watching all members for these characteristics listed above and one day you will log onto the site and have the "NOOBonic Valued" as a user rank.
